Welcome to the league where the games are competitive, the scheduling is flexible,
and the excuses are already warming up 😏

This league is built to give players a structured, competitive team play —
without requiring everyone to coordinate their lives like a NASA launch.

LEAGUE (SEASON) FORMAT (8-weeks + 3-week Playoffs)

Each team will:

  • Play 1 opposing team per week
  • Play 4 games (1 men’s & 1 women’s doubles, 2 mixed doubles)
  • Complete all matches within the assigned weekly timeframe
  • ALL teams make Playoffs

WEEKLY SCHEDULING

Each week, teams are responsible for:

  • Reaching out to their opponents
  • Finding a day and time that works
  • Booking their own court

This league runs on a flexible schedule, which means:

  • Play anytime during the week
  • All matches must be completed before the weekly deadline
  • Connect with all teams in your division to check availability
  • The weekly matchups are not locked in — play whichever team is available first
  • By the end of the season, every team will have played each team in their division

Simple: coordinate, play, repeat.
(Yes… basically adulting with paddles.)

SUBSTITUTIONS

If a player can’t attend:

  • A substitute player is absolutely allowed
  • Substitutes should be:
    • Similar in playing level
    • Fun to play with
    • Not your secretly retired pro cousin visiting from Florida

The goal is to keep matches competitive, fair, and moving forward without turning league night into a trade deadline frenzy.

Substitutions are intended for occasional absences — not roster engineering worthy of an NHL front office.

SCORE SUBMISSION

Once all games are completed:

  • ONE team is responsible for submitting scores
  • Scores should be submitted before the weekly deadline

That said… life happens. Kids happen. Work happens. Sometimes your partner talks for 45 minutes after pickleball game happens. Just do your best 😉

Please ensure:

  • Scores are accurate
  • Results are clearly recorded
  • Both teams agree on the submitted scores

STANDINGS

Standings will be updated weekly based on:

  • Wins/Losses
  • Total Games Won
  • Point Differential

So yes… that “one extra point” actually matters now.

SCORING & DREAMMAKER

EACH Game:

  • Regular scoring with each game is played to 15, win by 2, — NO CAP
  • If series are tied after 4 games, the teams will a play “DREAMMAKER” game, where first mixed teams start the game
  • At the 7-point court side switch leading mixed team switches to the other mixed team.
  • Once the other team reaches 7 points, they will switch to the other mixed double team as well

End Season Standings: Tie-Breakers

  • Head-to-head results
  • Point differential
  • Total points scored

So yes… that “one extra point” actually matters now.

PLAYOFFS & STANDINGS RULES

Final standings will be based on the results completed during the 8-week league season.

If a team is unable to complete all of their scheduled matches within the 8-week league period, no additional points will be awarded for any unplayed games.

In that case, the division standings will remain as they are at the end of the deadline, and the playoff schedule will be released based on those final standings.

This league is designed to provide:

  • Competitive but enjoyable play
  • Fair matchups
  • Consistent weekly games
  • A fun team atmosphere
  • Avoid unnecessary drama over plastic balls
  • Example: If you’re not laughing, you’re not playing it right 😉
