A Passion for Pickleball That Became Something Bigger

We’re Paul and Patricia, two Burlington locals who share a passion for pickleball, the people who play it, and the community that has grown around this incredible sport.

Our journey began in 2019 with a simple goal: bring local pickleball enthusiasts together. What started as a love for the game quickly grew into something much bigger. Over the years, we’ve organized games, coached players, built friendships, and helped grow Burlington’s pickleball community.

Along the way, we discovered something special. Pickleball isn’t just about the game. It’s about the people, the friendships, the laughter, and the sense of belonging.

And that’s what inspired us to take the next big step.

Why We Opened Burlington Pickleball

As players and coaches ourselves, we understood the challenges of finding available courts, organized games, and opportunities to play with others at similar skill levels.

We believed Burlington deserved more than just another place to rent a court. We envisioned a dedicated pickleball facility where players could connect, improve, compete, and genuinely feel part of a community.

So, rather than waiting for someone else to create it, we decided to build it ourselves.

In May 2025, Burlington Pickleball officially opened its doors, turning years of passion, experience, and determination into a place we’re incredibly proud to call our own.

Burlington Pickleball isn’t a corporate franchise. We’re not backed by a large company or outside investors. We’re simply two local people who love pickleball enough to build an entire club around it.

We’re the owners, the organizers, the coaches, and quite often, the players on the courts beside you.

Every decision we make comes from our own experiences as players and our commitment to creating the best possible environment for our community.

We’re personally invested in this club because it’s more than just a business to us. It’s something we’ve built from the ground up, right here in Burlington.

When you choose to play at Burlington Pickleball, you’re not supporting a corporate chain. You’re supporting a locally owned business, two people who genuinely care, and a community we’re working hard to grow every single day.

More Than Just Five Courts

We’re proud of our five dedicated indoor courts, organized play, leagues, clinics, and player development programs. But what makes Burlington Pickleball special isn’t the facility itself. It’s the people who fill it.

It’s the beginner discovering their new favourite sport, the competitive player chasing that next level, and the friendships that develop between games.

We want our club to be a place where everyone feels welcome, players challenge themselves, and great games are followed by even better conversations.

And yes, we’re all about friendly competition. Just because we’re friends doesn’t mean we’re letting you win!

We’re not trying to become the biggest corporate pickleball operation. We want to be the local club people genuinely love playing at.
